THE MIST opens on the southwest Irish coast, but much of the action takes place in Boston, “my” city. I went to college there, lived there and still visit often. In fact, I was there last Thursday! I love to walk through Boston Public Garden, especially in springtime. 
Here’s a photo we took last spring of the manmade pond where the famous Swan Boats operate during the warm-weather months. In THE ANGEL, folklorist and artist Keira Sullivan comes upon a dead body there — but it’s ficton!

I was just down there last week. However the weather was only so-so and I took the train from the Commons to the Convention center instead of walking… LOL.
