Happy Thanksgiving week! We’re having Thanksgiving at home this year, with gluten-free pies and stuffing for our little grandchildren with celiac (an autoimmune disorder) as well as gluten versions. It’s not hard to do with a bit of planning. Avoiding cross-contamination is key. That’s why we have two rolling pins! All the gravy will be gluten-free. Alex at the fabulous Parker House Inn in Quechee, Vermont, gave me tips since they do naturally gluten-free gravy. SO good.
My next Swift River Valley novel is The River House, on sale March 27. That’s right around the corner in the publishing world! I loved writing this story about two people with mixed histories with their little New England hometown of Knights Bridge. If you plan to read The River House, your pre-order helps. Thank you!
Wherever you are this Thursday, I hope it’s a wonderful day for you and yours, filled with hope, gratitude. good food and, of course, a good book.
All the best,
