Vaughn Sherman: SASHA PLOTKIN’S DECEIT

When I was in Edmonds, WA, last week, I had the great privilege of having lunch with Vaughn Sherman and his lovely wife. Vaughn is a smart, charming man with a rich and fascinating past and many interests and talents. I know him as a fellow novelist. He’s the author of SASHA PLOTKIN’S DECEIT, a brilliant Cold War spy novel that draws on his real-life experience with the CIA. It’s a gripping story with a genuineness and authenticity that I found incredibly compelling.

The weather in Edmonds was stunning for our lunch on the waterfront!

  1. How exciting! I just grabbed the kindle version, it sounds fascinating indeed! Have a trip coming up at the end of the month and it sounds like perfect airplane reading. :) Yay!

I’ve gotten behind in my blog reading lately. I’m so glad I caught your link on fb. I’ve been scrolling through all your wonderful photos. I really must make time to visit blogs again instead of letting so much time pass. :)

Your photos remind me that my husband and I need to do some more local site seeing. During the summer, we sail… but the season is almost done and the winter New England coast is always beautiful… time to get out there. I love the rocky NE coastline!

  2. I think you’ll enjoy the book! I love the rocky coastline, too, as you can probably tell. :-) Lots of great places to visit in NE. Enjoy!
